Description

Tall cylindrical shape with slight flare to form the body of the vase, the vase narrows gradually from the body to form the neck before flaring slightly to form the rim and opening. The vase has a white background with a red design of the Chinese Phoenix with various floral motifs, mostly in red with green and blue detailing. There is a lattice design near the rim of the vase. Kiyomizu-yaki by Masafumi Fujihira.
