Description

Conrad Orr talks about his time working as a smokejumper from 1953 until 1958. He describes the training, including the types of injuries jumpers could receive, working on fires and project work, and the equipment smokejumpers used at that time. Orr also describes the dedication of the Aerial Fire Depot in Missoula, Montana, in 1954.
