Description
In this interview, Edward Mooney talks about being a doctoral philosophy student when a friend and colleague of Henry Bugbee’s recommends he read Bugbee’s The Inward Morning. After Mooney reads the book, he’s so inspired that he drives from San Francisco to Montana to meet Bugbee. Mooney relays that although Bugbee is a genius, his works are not on the radar of many people and are not often taught. He describes some of Bugbee’s philosophy and conveys that he arranged with the University of Georgia to reprint Bugbee’s The Inward Morning. Bugbee’s love for taking nature walks and fly fishing is mentioned.
