In this interview, Sarah O’Donnell, whose mother died giving birth to her in Butte, Montana, recounts how her grandmother sent an aunt to bring O’Donnell back to Donegal after O’Donnell was born. She discusses being raised by her grandparents on a farm in Carndonagh, County Donegal, Ireland, and the difficulty of staying in touch with her cousin Rita in Butte.
