George P. “Jiggs” Dahlberg Oral History Project

 

This collection includes two interviews detailing George P. “Jiggs” Dahlberg’s career in the athletics department at the University of Montana-Missoula [then called Montana State University]. The interviews were conducted on August 18 and 19, 1987 by David “Dave” Guffey. Dahlberg discusses his experiences with the Athletics Department, coaching football and basketball, and specific games and players that he remembers from his time as the Athletic Director. The original interviews are held as Oral History collection OH 191 at Archives and Special Collections, Mansfield Library, University of Montana-Missoula.
