Esther MacDonald describes growing up in Highwood, Montana during the early 20th century. She reminisces about getting electricity, running water, and her family’s first car. MacDonald talks about life before those conveniences and describes doing household chores manually. She discusses how electricity and indoor plumbing made doing household chores much easier.
