Description
This recording is a practice reading for Patricia Goedicke's opening lecture for ENCR 411, Advanced Creative Writing: Poetry. In it, Goedicke discusses her understanding of poetry, its relation to human experience, and how one might go about creating and crafting one's work. Goedicke's husband, Leonard Wallace Robinson can be heard making occasional commentary. A transcript of this audio file is not yet available.

Patricia Goedicke, wife of author Leonard Wallace Robinson, was a poet and professor of Creative Writing at the Unviersity of Montana from 1981-2003. Goedicke authored 13 books of poetry from 1968-2008, the last book published posthumously.
