John C. Sheehy talks about his interest in politics at a young age and the political and social climate of Butte when he was growing up. He describes Montana politicians he has known: Jerry O'Connell, Jim Murray, Wellington Rankin, Mike Mansfield, John Metcalf, Ted Schwinden, and others. He talks about Anaconda lobbying techniques and personalities. He ends with a discussion of his time on the Supreme Court.
