Description

Ambassador Mansfield discusses military and trade relations with Japan, as well as Japanese relations with the Soviets and United States relations with China. He also stresses the importance of the Pacific Basin to the economic future of the world. He assesses the trade problems from the American end and analyzes the Japanese character and conditions for the visitors.
