Description

A noren, or door curtain, made using the Katazome method of stencil dying, a traditional Japanese process. Hand made by Moriharu Shioiri. Navy blue with white fan at center. Fan is decorated with red flowers and blue detailing. The curtain is comprised of two panels that are stitched together approximately 1/3 of the length, making a slit to walk through. There is a tag on the left side with Japanese characters.
