Description

Hand-carved wooden (rosewood) jewelry box with brass embellishments along the sides and corners. Brass latch. Top has an oval jade inlay with a floral motif with a bird in the center. The inside is covered in a red/ pink brocade with a floral and bamboo motif. There is a removable tray that reveals a compartment below. There are two brass handles on the sides of the box.
