Political cartoon by Jim Berryman titled "Maybe Lyndon Can Find a Mahout and a Mule Skinner" The cartoon depicts Mike Mansfield with two characters representing the G.O.P (elephant) and the Southern Democrats (donkey). The G.O.P and the Southern Democrats are depicted in front of a stack of papers labeled Administration Program with their arms around each others shoulders. Mansfield is depicted sweating holding a paper that reads, "Pakistan Camel Driver Coming To Visit U.S. At V.P's Invitation." There is a note in the lower right corner from the artist to Mansfield that reads, "Regards, Mike... and Sympathies!"
