Description
Black lacquer-ware letterbox with an interlocking lid. The box has mother of pearl inlay to show plum blossoms. The branch inlay is a blue/ purple mother of pear while the flowers are variations on white and pink inlay. The portion where the lid and base meet is rimmed in a silver lining to keep the two pieces from sticking together.
