Description

Half sized replica of the Cheonmachong Gold Crown found in Cheonmachong Tomb. No. 188, also known as the Heavenly Horse Tomb. The original crown is believed to belong to King Soji or King Jijeung and was designated as a South Korean National Treasure on December 7, 1978. The original crown is housed at the Gyeongju National Museum. Numerous 1/2 sized replicas were made in the 1980s after the crown was found.
