Description

Rounded Bizen-Yaki pottery vase from the Okagawa prefecture. The vase is a mix of red, tan, and gold coloring, and the inside of the vase is a dark brown/ black color. The vase is signed by Toshu Yamamoto, the artist.

In 1980, Maureen and Mike Mansfield were gifted this vase by the artist when Mike Mansfield visited the artist's kiln.
