A pen stock bolt from the original construction of the Fort Peck Dam in 1934. The bolt is framed with a plaque that reads, "Presented by the Montana Electric Cooperatives Association in Deep Gratitude for Senator Max Baucus. As this bolt secured the foundation of one of Montana's great public resources, so has your work melded the United States Congress Support for our federal power facilities. A lifeline to Rural Montana."
