This collection includes five interviews detailing the extensive career of anthropologist and University of Montana professor Carling I. Malouf. The interviews were conducted in 2004 by G.G. Weix, Sharon Small, and Betty Matthews. Malouf discusses his education, early interactions with various Native American tribes, and his ethnology work on the Plains Indians. He also talks about his teaching career at the University of Montana. The original interviews are held as Oral History collection OH 441 at Archives and Special Collections, Mansfield Library, University of Montana-Missoula.
