Description
Daniel Kemmis reflects on his election to the Missoula City Council. He discusses his reasons for running and his working relationship with colleague Ann Mary Dussault, a Missoula County Commissioner who also served in the Montana State Legislature. He talks about the possibility of running for mayor of Missoula again in two years and how his election to the city council will be a stepping stone to the mayor’s office. Kemmis describes his continued work for the Northern Lights Institute, which he notes has given him an avenue to write about political philosophy and ethics. He also gives his thoughts on the Democratic leaders in the Montana.
