Louise Bruce discusses the history of the Montana Wilderness Association [MWA] starting in 1979. She describes the Association’s founding members, the campaign to save the Lincoln backcountry area in Montana, and various coalitions with which the MWA partnered. Bruce also recalls her reasons for becoming involved with the Association and the internship she completed in Helena, Montana.
