Abstract
Rooted in the profound lived experience of motherhood, this portfolio represents a professional evolution from offering grassroots peer support to designing advanced, systemic interventions for postpartum women. Driven by the belief that a mother’s struggle is often a reflection of her environment's failure to support her, this work utilizes a social justice lens to dismantle the isolation of the postpartum period. By combining clinical intake screening, trauma-focused therapy design, and macro-level organizational leadership, this portfolio outlines the creation of an equitable, multidisciplinary community ecosystem. It serves as both an academic capstone and an actionable blueprint for transforming how rural communities support, empower, and advocate for maternal mental health.
