Description
Madison Seipp reflects on her time as a student at the University of Montana. She speaks about her reluctance to become a sports fan when she came to the University of Montana. Seipp was never a sports fan during her childhood or high school. She talks about what finally led her to become a Griz sports fan. She tells the story of the first University of Montana football game and talks about how the Cat-Griz rivalry was an eye opener for her, as she fell in love with the competitive environment of the game. She talks about her time as a student journalist for the University of Montana Kaimin. Interviewer Henry Seipp was an undergraduate student working on the Griz Nation Oral History Project as part of the Griz130 History Initiative.
