Description
Lindsey Hall is a current University of Montana Track and Field assistant coach. Born and raised in Missoula, she discusses early experiences with the outdoors, her earliest experiences with running, and her decision to run at the University of Montana in college. Hall discusses her college track and field career, including injuries, overtraining, and successes. She also discusses the experience of being a female athlete and how recognition of women’s sports has changed in her lifetime. Hall talks about the Missoula and Griz community and the support she has received as an athlete and Missoulian. Sam Tyrrel was an undergraduate student participating in the Griz Nation Oral History Project as part of the Griz130 History Initiative.
