  • Sabina Sabyrkulova, Counseling doctoral student conducting research on professional dispositions among doctoral students
  • Allison Lawrence, head volleyball coach at UM, and doctoral student in the EdD program
  • Katelyn Melcher, Psychology graduate student and counseling intern at SARC
  • Robert Ryan, Counseling doctoral student and former college counselor and current high school counselor
  • Mara Livdahl, Counseling graduate student, and counseling intern at the YWCA

Panelists from UM’s campus will discuss strategies for wellness, advocacy within higher education, and the impact of graduate school on students’ mental health. Join our panelists as they discuss how they have navigated the power dynamics of higher education in order to seek support and help, as well as what other methods of self-care have contributed to their resiliency within their departments. Our panelists are interdisciplinary and have experience working across college campuses in various resource roles.
