Description
This 12-minute video was taken in late June and early July of 2014 while Garon Smith was on a 6-month wizarding sabbatical. It was filmed and produced by Gabby Golding, an M.S. Candidate in the University of Otago's Science Communications Department. Much of the footage is from the "Different Bangs" show, a part of the university's International Science festival that year. The road trip section is from the Taieri Beach School, a 3-room elementary school about 25 miles southeast of Dunedin serving Year 1 - 6 students. The scene with students gathered round Garon was from Tahuna Intermediate School in South Dunedin. The film fulfilled one of Gabby's M.S. Requirements - the production of a science documentary. The film is included here with Gabby's permission.
