Description
This appendix contains the PowerPoint file that was presented as the keynote address to the Montana Science Teachers Association at the Montan Federation of Public Employees convention on October 15, 2026 at Charles M. Russell High School in Great Falls. The talk that accompanied the slides was focused on how I use dramatic demos to introduce a new concept to my class. If you can capture their interest going into a new unit by letting them experience first-hand what its content concerns, you are more likely to keep them engaged. It gives them a real experience to associate with abstract concepts.
