She describes her day-to-day life at the school, her studies, her friends, and her relationship with the nuns. She details interactions between the girls at Sacred Heart Academy and the boys attending the Loyola School across the street. Marsh also discusses holiday celebrations, her summer vacations in Bearmouth, Montana, and the affects that the Great Depression had on her family.
