Description
Oribe ware is a type of Japanese pottery most identifiable for its use of green copper glaze and bold painted design. It was the first use of colored stoneware glaze by Japanese potters. Rectangular plate with a beige colored clay and a green overglaze. The face of the plate has vertical incisions with two circles at the third incision. The plate sits on 4 feet.
