Description

Black lacquer letter box with fine maki-e of various flowers and leaves. The flowers on the lid are made of inlaid mother of pearl. Silver metal edging where the lid and bottom connect. There are floral motifs on 3 of the 4 sides of the bottom, all sides depict different flowers. All detailing is gold based with accents of green, red, and white.
