Description

Calligraphy brush shaft made of wood. Unknown substance creates the brush head, but it is likely made of hair from goats, sheep, or horses. Unknown Japanese writing on the shaft.

This brush was gifted to Mike Mansfield along with the accompanying ink and suzuri (M2013-015A and M2013-015B) by Takayoshi Mizushima of the Hakubi Kyoto Kimono School for Mike's birthday in 1981.
