Description

Silk Hakama (pleated skirt) and Haori (kimono jacket) for men. The hakama and haori are worn over kimono. The hakama is brown/grey in color and stripes and the haori is black in color with white flowers hear the collar.

The present example belonged to Mr. Taruo Hachiya, former diplomat of Japan who headed the Japan American Society of Tokyo for many years. He died about 1980.
