Ninemile History Oral History Project

 

This collection includes two interviews detailing the history of the Ninemile area in Montana. The interviews were conducted in 1974 by Willard A. "Bill" Hartley. The interviewees discuss the Anaconda Copper Mining Company and its activities in the Ninemile area. They also give biographical information of some of the families who lived in the area. The original interviews are held as Oral History collection OH 011 at Archives and Special Collections, Mansfield Library, University of Montana-Missoula.
