Richard Lee Merritt Papers

 

Richard Lee Merritt's archival collection includes correspondence, writings and artwork. Merritt was born in Missoula, Montana, in 1922 and attended the University of Montana (then called Montana State University) from 1941-1943. He was an army veteran, a librarian, a writer, an artist and a long-time resident of San Francisco. A guide to the Richard Lee Merritt Papers is available online.
