Don Webb discusses his time working as a smokejumper out of McCall, Idaho; Missoula, Montana; and Silver City, New Mexico, from 1956 until 1960. He describes the training procedures in 1956, as well as the types of aircraft used. Webb also talks about some of his memorable fire jumps and rescue jumps, and how his perspective on smokejumping has changed after moving to an administrative role.
