Abstract
Academic libraries, over the last few years, have recognized the significance and ubiquitousness of mobile devices and the dominance of mobile phones and tablets in the life of university students. Mobile phones and tablets are the tools most likely at / in hand whenever a student needs to accomplish a task. Most academic library websites and many academic library databases are mobile device friendly. However, not many libraries have experimented with creating and building apps for their users. And there are not many literature search related apps currently in the Apple App Store and none of them are of the type proposed by this research project.
