Description

Wooden dance card for the 1931 Foresters Ball. The dance card is constructed from two pieces of wood and tied together with a piece of leather. The front of the card depicts a man looking over the cliff with the text "16th Annual Foresters' Ball February 13, 1931" The inside of the card is labeled "Cruiser's Tally" for recording the names of dance partners. The left side depicts a forester on a horse looking at mountains and is labeled Conifers. There are 10 spaces each with a type of conifer tree underneath the line. The right side depicts a forester waling into district headquarters, is labeled broad-leaves, and each of the 10 lines has a type of broad-leaf tree underneath the line.
