Abstract

This capstone project focuses on showcasing my graphic design skills acquired while being a media arts student at the University of Montana. The project is comprised of three posters that flow together as one but could also be separated individually. Inspired by personal connections to the Smith River, the posters aim to highlight its scenic beauty while raising awareness about environmental challenges, particularly concerning mining threats. In the creation of this project, I utilized Adobe Illustrator while being mentored by Michael Musick. This capstone is a way to show off my skills that I learned at UM.
