In this interview, James Duram reflects on his time serving in the U.S. Army and how he has always wanted to serve since he was a child. He discusses his peer-to-peer training working with the Israeli Defense Force. He talks about his time at the National Training Center, where he learned to operate tanks, including Abrams and Bradleys. Duram also discusses how the Army paid for him to attend the University of Montana. Also, Duram talks quite a bit about the importance of relationships with fellow soldiers while serving, how grateful he is to serve, and how humbling it is.
