Description
Zach Millar talks about his educational background and his employment at Bayern Brewing Company. He describes using Blackstone Launchpad at the University of Montana to help him open the Dram Shop. He notes that his business is not a brewery, but a tap room and fill station that sells beers from local Montana breweries. Millar details his business model, the operation of a business in a building on the Historic Registrar, and the alcohol industry both nationally and locally. He discusses the demographics of his customer base and talks about the importance of maintaining an atmosphere that appeals to a wide variety of patrons. Millar then compares the craft alcohol industry nationally and regionally with his thoughts on how his business functions as part of the Missoula downtown community and brewing community.
