Abstract
This portfolio contains a collection of work surrounding the applications of GIS in conservation. It utilizes landscape-scale geospatial modeling, base map creation and habitat analysis. Each portfolio piece involved a partnership with a conservation organization in Western Montana, including The Crown Managers Partnership, The Nature Conservancy, and The Vital Ground Foundation. These pieces demonstrate how different organizations are harnessing the power of a GIS to inform their conservation decisions.
