Abstract

Operation Babylift was a mission organized by the U.S. and other Western countries which evacuated approximately 3,000 children — mostly half-Vietnamese orphans likely fathered by U.S. soldiers during the war. Roger Castillo was one of these children. In this 20-minute documentary Roger shares his memories of that operation and reflects on its significance in his life as he makes wine from a century-old orchard in his back yard.
