We generalize certain concepts of equivalence between directed graphs to the realm of higher-rank graphs. Specifically, we focus on how certain geometric relations and structure between higher-rank graphs translates to algebraic and topological structure between their induced C*-algebras. This leads to a larger exploration regarding what combinatorial information is lost in the transition from the new field of higher-rank graphs to the well studied field of C*-algebras.
