The Department of Forest Management provides the foundation and tools necessary for ecologically and socioeconomically sustainable management of forest landscapes. The department emphasizes knowledge and skills to manage the use, conservation, and restoration of natural resources while also satisfying social, economic, and ecological objectives. The research and creative scholarship by the faculty of the Department of Forest Management includes research completed at the Lubrecht Experimental Forest and the Bandy Experimental Ranch and includes agricultural management, forest education, conservation experiments, and more.
