Former Montana State Senator Ron Erickson discusses his involvement in the Missoula environmental movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Erickson, who also worked as a professor of chemistry at the University of Montana, discusses creating the Environmental Studies program at the university. He discusses air and water pollution issues in the Missoula area, his work with the group Concerned Citizens for a Quality Environment, and his time serving in the Montana State Legislature.
