Abstract

This paper presents an advanced integrated practice framework that bridges micro-level clinical intervention and macro-level structural reform. Grounded in structural social work theory, relational theory, and Janet Finn's "Just Practice" approach, it asserts that individual psychological crises are frequently manifestations of broader systemic failures rather than isolated personal deficits. Drawing on frontline experience in municipal crisis teams and inpatient psychiatry, this portfolio emphasizes moving beyond one-size-fits-all models toward relational approaches that prioritize human agency and community ownership. This work demonstrates how direct practice and policy strategy are mutually constitutive. Ultimately, effective social work requires practitioners to navigate both immediate human suffering and institutional systems, translating awareness into liberatory, community action.
