Description
Chinese silk scroll. The scroll depicts pink, white, and red peonies against leaves on a white background. The painting is surrounded by an orange and gold-green silk brocade. There is a dowel at the base of the scroll to weight it down.
This scroll was gifted to Mike Mansfield in 1983 for his birthday by Mr. and Mrs. Takayoshi Mizushima of the Hakubi Kyoto Kimono School. Mr. Mizushima brought this specific scroll back from China with the intention of gifting it to Mike Mansfield.
