Abstract
The disAbility Resource Center of the Rappahannock Area, Inc (dRC) is a Center for Independent Living (CIL) that provides services that promote independence, advocacy, and leadership among the people with disabilities they serve. dRC focuses on disability-led services and programs to meet consumers' needs, with an extraordinary level of peer support. RTC:Rural researchers explore dRC's peer mentoring and peer support groups through the Rural Community Living Development project.
