This article analyzes revisions made in 1981 and again in 2010 to the Montana Administrative Procedure Act (MAPA), focusing on agency rule making, agency adjudication, and judicial review of agency decisions. The author concludes that uncertainty that accompanied MAPA when it was enacted in 1971 has been resolved, and that the Act works, appears to be universally accepted, and places the practice of administrative law in Montana on the same plain as that in other states.
