Description
Tucker Sargent discusses his transformation in the late 2000’s from a Griz lacrosse player to a coach, along with his connections to Griz hockey. Sargent describes the challenges of building up a lacrosse program right out of college, and how the community's support has changed over time. Sargent also details the resurgence of the Griz hockey club in 2021 and the role he played in bringing the team back, and how Missoula’s community has responded to this return. Interviewer Sam Jackson was an undergraduate student working on the Griz Nation Oral History Project as part of the Griz130 History Initiative.
