Description

This ledger contains the 1912 to 1919 meeting minutes of the Executive Board of the University of Montana in Missoula (also referred to as the Local Executive Board of the University of Montana). Members of the board included the university president as chairman, J. B. Speer as secretary, and two local community leaders. Edwin Craighead was university president and chairman of the Executive Board from 1912 to 1915. Following Edwin Craighead's dismissal as university president, Professor F. C. Scheuch was interim president and chairman of the Executive Board until 1917, when E. O. Sisson became president. The two local leaders that served on the Board between 1912-1919 were J. M. Keith, and J. H. T. Ryman. Topics discussed range from campus grounds and maintenance, curriculum, personnel, student funds, university finances, and more.

Images captured using an Atiz BookDrive Pro with dual Canon EOS Rebel T1i at 400 ppi with a custom White Balance, ISO of 2000 and no flash was used. Dual Canon lens: EF50mm f/2.5 - Compact Macro. Dual camera control capture software using BookDrive Capture 5.1. Camera file format RAW (.CR2). File processed to TIFF at 600 ppi for preservation and PDF at 300 dpi for online access using Adobe Bridge and Photoshop version 27.0.1 (CS5). The PDF files were OCRd with ABBYY FineReader version 13.0.
