Description

This ledger contains the 1919 to 1943 meeting minutes of the Local Executive Board of the University of Montana (also called the Executive Board of the University of Montana in Missoula). Prominent members of the Board included the university president as chairman, J. B. Speer as secretary, and two local community leaders. Chairmen include E. O. Sission (1917-1921), Charles H. Clapp (1921-1935), George F. Simmons (1936-1941), and Ernest O. Melby in 1941. The two local leaders who served on the Board between 1919-1943 were S. J. Coffee and J. F. S. Marshall. Topics discussed include campus grounds and maintenance, curriculum, personnel, student funds, university finances, and more.

Images captured using an Atiz BookDrive Pro with dual Canon EOS Rebel T1i at 400 ppi with a custom White Balance, ISO of 2000 and no flash was used. Dual Canon lens: EF50mm f/2.5 - Compact Macro. Dual camera control capture software using BookDrive Capture 5.1. Camera file format RAW (.CR2). File processed to TIFF at 600 ppi for preservation and PDF at 300 dpi for online access using Adobe Bridge and Photoshop version 27.0.1 (CS5). The PDF files were OCRd with ABBYY FineReader version 13.0.
